Bennett College is celebrating a remarkable moment of both individual brilliance and collective pride. Sophomore biology major and aspiring veterinarian Johanna Clarke has been named one of the Top 3 finalists in the National HBCU Rising Star Singing Competition, presented by Google as part of the upcoming 2025 HBCU Honors on BET.Selected from an extraordinary field of vocalists across the country, Ms. Clarke rose to the top through a blend of artistry, vocal strength, stage presence, and coachability that distinguished her among this year’s competitors.
