It’s a dream come true for Zaay Green, a University of Arkansas Pine Bluff graduate, who was drafted into the WNBA.This week Green, who is 25 years old, was selected in the WNBA draft in the third round by the Washington Mystics. Her selection marks a groundbreaking milestone not only for her, but for the UAPB women’s basketball program.“I was crying. When I finally heard my name, I went down there. I was just smiling so hard like everybody,” Green said. The Texas native said she celebrated draft night with her family and friends by her side.
