The biblical meaning of BLESSED is to be fully satisfied due to God’s Favor on your life regardless of your circumstances. Some of the blessings that matter the most are: Christ dying on the cross for our sins, God’s forgiveness, and God’s presence with us ALWAYS, through the Holy Spirit!

You may ask, how do we unlock God’s blessings? Simple: delight ourselves in Him. Psalm 112:1 reads, “Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.” So, just who are these blessed people? Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted (Matthew 5:4). Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled (Matthew 5:6). Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy (Matthew 5:7).

You may ask, what do I have to do to get God’s blessings? Honor His commandments, look ’em up. Ask Him to Bless you and don’t be scurrred. Lol. He will either say yes, no, or not right now. How about this one: be a blessing to others. God blesses those who bless others.

Now, you can also block blessings from reaching you. Watch out for FEAR, DOUBT and SIN. I know, I know, this may be a bit challenging but at least try and thank God for His grace and mercy because that may get you a pass on a few of those blessings He has planned for you.

You know what? We have only been talking about how God blesses us. What about how we can bless Him? He needs to be blessed too. Here is how we can do it. Just praise Him, exalt Him and worship Him. Praise Him for his counsel (Psalm 16:7), His Holiness (Psalm 103:1) and His Power over ALL THINGS (Psalm 103:22. He deserves us to bless Him and that’s the least we can do for Him, considering all the things he does for us. So make it a point each day to bless God, bless others, and bless yourself. You matter too!
