Florida A&M Men’s Basketball earned a historic commitment on Saturday, June 27.Prized recruit Camden Cooper of Jacksonville announced on Instagram that he will join Head Coach Charlie Ward’s Rattlers once he completes high school in 2027. Cooper is rated a three-star athlete by Rivals.com and is considered a four-star on ESPN.“100% committed,” he posted. “I’m very grateful to join the FAMULY and to play under Coach Ward, Coach Lazarus, and the rest of the staff. Rattler Nation, let’s work!”According to CBS Sports college basketball insider John Rothstein, the 6-foot-7 guard/forward is FAMU’s highest-rated recruit in program history. Cooper held Power Four offers from Florida State and Texas A&M.
