The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff marked homecoming week with a milestone announcement: a $5 million gift from the Windgate Foundation, the largest single donation in school history.The funds will go toward building a new Art Tower addition to the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Center, adding more classrooms, studio space, and gallery areas. The new spaces will be designed to be modern, light-filled, and responsive to creative needs. The renovation is intended not just to upgrade infrastructure, but to reshape UAPB’s role as a cultural centerpiece in the Delta region. Chancellor Anthony Graham welcomed the gift as transformative for students and the campus at large:“It’s going to be a modernized, technologically advanced facility that allows our students, our artists, to really use their creative imaginations,” Graham said.
