What is THE FULLNESS OF GOD? The scripture describes it as sense of COMPLETENESS. In Ephesians 4:13, Paul says that Christ gave us the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to build up the body of Christ until we obtain “The FULLNESS of Christ.”
There are three ways you can find your way to The Fullness Of God.
1. Commit to an active prayer life with God. There is no way you can find your way to His fullness without praying to Him on a regular basis.
2. Commit to learning God’s word. READ YO’ BIBLE. If you don’t, you won’t be able to comprehend just how extensive his fullness is.
3. Commit to being obedient to God and His word. It you can’t commit to numbers 1 and 2, number 3 won’t even matter. If you can incorporate all three into your life, you will be well on your way to obtaining the Fullness Of God. When you reach that fullness, you will be conscious of and yield to God’s presence, strength, care for others, His holiness, His righteousness, and most importantly, HIS LOVE.
When you experience the Fullness Of God, you will have an indescribable inner peace that is second to none. That peace assures you that what ever comes your way, it’s no match for God. In the 1996 movie, Jerry Mcguire, actor Tom Cruise tells Renee Zellweger, “You complete me.” That’s fiction. The truth is only GOD can complete you and the completeness comes through having THE FULLNESS OF GOD.
