In The Bible, the “end times” refer to the “last days” leading up to the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of God’s eternal Kingdom in Heaven.  The majority of end times events are characterized in the Book of Revelation. Revelation is a book of prophecy describing signs of the last days, including: wars, famines, natural disasters, plagues, an increase in wickedness, deception and the arrival of “The Antichrist,” a figure who will arise to prominence and oppose Christ and everything He represents before eventually being defeated in the end.

Some people think the Antichrist has already arrived….no comment. Other signs of the end times: People will become lovers of self, money, pleasure, there will be a decline of love for one another and an increase in lawlessness. Nations will arise against nations and conflicts and chaos will develop worldwide.

The Bible also talks about “The Rapture” being a part of the end times. Now, the Bible doesn’t specifically call it “The Rapture,” but 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 describes the Lord descending from Heaven with a shout, the voice of the archangel, and the trumpet of God. The dead in Christ will rise first, and then those who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And that is what we call “The Rapture.”

There will be an increase in false prophets and teachers of the word of God to confuse people and lead people away from God instead of towards God. That is why you should know the Word of God for yourself and not depend on anyone else to tell you what His word says or to interpret it for you…just sayin’.

The Bible does not give us a year, month, day, time, hour or minute for the end times and because it doesn’t, we need to be ready at all times because the end times signs are already upon us. We should do our best to live holy lives, do good works, and share the gospel, as we wait upon the return of Christ.
