Missouri
No early voting
Missouri does not offer an early voting period. If you will be unable to vote in person on Election Day, you can request an absentee ballot/mail-in ballot by mail or by visiting your local election office. Mailed requests for absentee ballots must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 for the general election. Voters can vote by absentee in the office of the local election authority until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020.
Vote by mail
- Review the absentee/mail-in ballot application and confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements for voting absentee. Your application may require a notary.
- Fill out the application completely.
- Submit the request to your local election office. You should request your ballot as far in advance of the election as possible. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is (received by) 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
- When your ballot arrives, read it carefully and follow the instructions to complete it and return it.
